Libations / Turn Page Challenge

How Capricious…

I picked up this cocktail book out of curiosity while shopping at Whole Foods: Food & Wine Cocktails 2012

Its got all the basics, not bad really. I came across the Capricious  cocktail, a  variation of a martini. All I had was sweet vermouth at home, but I thought I would give it a whirl with that anyway, a Sweet Capricious you could say.

Then rather I experimented with the basic idea but using the Thai Tea infused Gin and replacing St Germain with the Vanilla Tequilla. It wasn’t too bad, perhaps not a winner yet.

This process, was the start of what inspired me to keep the process going of randomly turning to a page in a cockail book and make whatever I happen to turn to, which started a trend on Instagram.
