During a night of recreations, I got a bit creative and just winged a cocktail. I love Mezcal, I love orgeat… I’ve had drinks with Tequila and Orgeat, so why wouldn’t this work! I wanted to make something simple with Mezcal to introduce the smoky goodness to a friend of mine. Come to find later after searching on this combo, that theSpeakista also had a similar idea, even down to the exact same use of bitters,both coming to similar conclusions: Interesting, good, maybe not quite perfect.  I guess great minds think alike. My friend however really enjoyed it.

Who you Mezcal’n a fool?! 

2 oz Mezcal

3/4 oz Lime

1/2 oz Orgeat

3-4 dashes Miracle Mile Chocolate Chili Bitters

Combine all ingredients except for bitters in cocktail shaker, shake vigorously. Strain over one large rock (my personal cocktail preference). Dash bitters on top and garnish with a lime wedge.
